Refugium water level won't stay consistent.

    yes, both are completely seperate returns and overflows. Ill get to resizeing those pics in a sec. then.

    If I understand this correctly and you are using two overflows and two return pumps and one display tank ...

    You will never be able to get a balance because each overflow cannot be matched individually to its corresponding return pump since they are both in the same display tank.

    This system will only work with one pump returning water to the display instead of the two you currently have....

    yeah, i've been toying with the idea of having one drain to the fuge, then one drain from the fuge to the wet/dry and have one pump. I suppose this is why.

    first problem is the way that hose has a drip loop in it, needs to be above the lip of the refugium.

    You should have one overflow, and T it off to the fuge and the sump separately.

    Also, is there a big air bubble in the overflow tube? That means there is not enough flow thru it.
