    I had about a 1-1/2" blue hippo tang who grew from that to almost double the size in 3 months so.. Im not sure because my other blue hippo was about the same sized intro'ed at the same time and he didn't get nearly as large. I know they do go pretty fast. My guess would be a year to two...? But that would be my guess :)

    As long as he doesn't get to 8 inches in like 2 months it's fine, i'd probably upgrade my tank in a year anyway.

    He's getting a bit more adventerous though, coming out from one of the caves a bit more now, he's eating too.
