I dunno In all honesty, Used about 15-20lbs of sand fromt he 46g. and around 70lbs of cured rock. and 20lbs of new rock... so we will see!

Dust has finally gone. Fish are doing well and the Foxface is now in the tank... Keeping an eye on params.

The Idol was not phased by the move, Not as piggy with food but Still eatting like a champ.

The leopard wrasse is now in the 120g. And We lost the Cardinal Fish somehow. Not sure how such a hardy fish compared to all the others passed. The cleaner wrasse has gone missing. Which is unlike him but I havent seen the CUC tearing something up so Im assuming hes hiding.

It looks good. How many total lb's of sand are in that tank? I was thinking 30 for my 55g would be fine, but i think I want to use eggcrate so rock doesn't scratch the glass bottom. I want the sand to cover the eggcrate. How much sand would I need to cover the eggcrate so you can't see it on the bottom? I would like a shallow sand bed..maybe 2 inches max. Would 30lb be enough to cover it?

Depends on the type of sand you use and such... the finer the grade the more poundage youd need... Id stick to around 1lb/Gallon.

Well Good news, Everyone is out and about enjoying the tank. Lots of room for them to be now rather then cramped in 46g!

The new Mata Tang from Kacy seems to be doing well! He loves his Bubbles, Shrimp and Nori. Him and the passer angel have been having small fights. Few torn fins here and there but They are settling down finally after a few days. And everyone is still eating well.

Glad all is good with the switch from old tank to new.

I was planning on using Carib-Sea argonite for the base. Guess I should go with 60lb then?
