    If you plan to modify your stand. You better take the tank off of it first is what he was implying :)

    I figured as much... Well I'm not taking anything off unless I start to see anything sag/swell and luckily I don't see any indication of that thus far. I still have about 50lbs+ of rock to add but I think I'll be ok.

    Honestly if the stand is made for the tank it should be fine. If you want ask the store owner who built the stand/ If he says: All Glass, Perfecto, Oceanic or R & J Aquatics you should absolutely be fine.

    Just let us all know the brand and maybe someone has the same stand and can share with you their opinion.
