relocating jawfish

after weeks of trying to get my jawfish a foster home i am giving in i am thinking of getting a nano for him my friend has one at his store its been there for a couple of years no one was interested in it its a aqua medic i dont think they made it for to long , nothing on their website or anywhere else. it is a 9 gal i think. it has a protein skimmmer,fuge pc lighting ect question is he is about 3.5-4 inches long but will be the sole occupant will this work ? he is destroying my tank under mining everything i put down to keep him from digging under clams,rockwork,coral . spitting gravel all over the place on coral all over my clams ect. not a good tankmate but i made a bad choice its really not his fault hes just doing what he would do in the wild

 

With a deep enough sand bed and non-aggressive tank mates, the fish should be fine.

 

Agree- Just keep an eye on the paramerts as they will change quick in a 9 gallon tank.. Should be fine though with just the Jaw in there.

 

Keep a tight lid on that puppy. they like to carpet surf.

 

i was unable to get the aqua med so i got a oceanic 14 bio cube the price was unbeatable now i see a lot negative posts about it just wondering if i will have problems w/this unit are there any mods i should make?still will only be mr jawfish,will the filter w/this be enough?? never had anything like this so any advise would be greatly appreciated thanks
