I see a couple of familiar faces. AZ rat. Matt Rogers.
It's been a few years. I'm still tankless but may get back in soon now that I may be settled for a while.
    Really miss this hobby. ;D

    THanks guys.
    I had a 180 long and now I'm thinking about a 120 rectangle rimless.
Gotta brush up on all the new gear.
LEDs were just getting started back then. I gotta read up on that. Is Metal halide or T5 still kinda preferred for SPS?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

And the flood gates open with opinions!!!!!!! It would appear that LED, T5 and MH are all proven to be effective for maintaining and growing colorful sps. It's an individual's preference. Cost of bulbs, heat of lights, longevity of bulbs, color provided all play a significant part in the decision.

Personally I think if you have the money hybrid fixtures combining types such as LED and MH would be awesome, look at the new ATI fixtures.

    Welcome back. :)
