Ha, you guys nailed it with two kids and a wife I too do all my tank maintenance and aqua scaping late at night!! The only thing I wish I did differently was had the tank drilled. I have a CPR overflow with an aqua lifter on it but still get nervous from time to time.

There is actually about 30 corals in the tank. Part of the reason I switched around the Auqua scape was to give myself some more room. The size of the light really does not have anything to do with the amount of corals you have but rather the types of corals you want to keep. You can have one coral in a tank and if that coral requires high lighting you better come packing with a big light or that coral will not do well. On the other hand you can have 100 corals, if they all need low light you could get away with something smaller.

I actually wish I went larger on my light.. I think most would say on a 120 I should have two 250 HL. I have two 150's plus and Actinics so I end up around 500 watts but less coming from the MHL's which has worked great. I've never had a problem keeping corals.. knock on wood.. :) Thanks for checking it out!
