The sailfin and the hippo i have had for a long time they made the transfer over from my 120 when I had it. Great fish. The hippo ison of my favorite but the trigger is by far my favorite at this point. Great looking fish with great personality.

I have been holding off on getting any SPS as before the LEDs I only had 2 - 150 watt MHLs hanging over the tank. Was concerned it was not enough to keep TE successfully. Now that the LEDs are up I will likely try to work some in.

Thanks everyone!! I programmed my aqua controller last night to operate the new lights simulating sunrise and sunset. With the two separate lights I phased each one in separately, so half the tank gets more light then the other as the "sun" comes up, eventually lighting the entrie tank evenly. First the blues come on, then the whites.

Nice! I am loving my Apex Lite. The LEDs are not dimmable, are they?

Mine are not unles there is some way to do it through the aqua controller which I do not think there is.. I wish i could but the price on these was right. Which is why I was eyeing them up. My thought was use other less expensive LEDs for the dimmer periods and only use these for the times when the brightest light is needed.. Hopefully this will save on bulb use. We'll see.

Hey Everyone- So I got a pretty good deal on a custom sump for my tank and picked it up over the weekend. The Sump is 36L x 24W x 16H. I am thinking it should add about 40-50 gallons of water to my system which I am more than thrilled about.

The sump has six different compartments in it.

    - The first is the return section where the filter bag hangs with four overflows coming from my display tank.

    - The second compartment has BioBalls in it now but will be open and flow freely in to the third compartment. (not going to run the BioBalls)

    - The Third compartment is the fuge and will house Reef Mud and some cheato.

    - The forth compartment is the largest. This will hold about 40 pounds of live rock and my skimmer

    - The fifth compartment is set up with an acrylic bracket to hold the probes for my aqua controller

    - The sixth compartment is set up for the return pump, skimmer pump, the pump for my reactor and my ATO float valve.

With this upgrade I also had to upgrade my pump so I purchased a BlueLine 70 pump rated at about 1750 GPH which should turn over my tank about 7-8 times in an hour. While this is an inwall set up I plan to put the sump on matting as well as the pump and connect the pump to the sump with flexible PVC. This should help cut down on noise and vibration. Below are some pictures of the puzzle pieces. I plan to put everything together tomorrow after work.

Another shot.. They look so nice when they are new.. If only it would stay that way.

Here is a picture next to my kids table so you can get an idea on the size.

Your setup is awesome. I am envious of your tank. I only have a 20G long and hopefully will be upgrading to a 40G long. I like the shallow look. Glass was a little dirty in picks.
