    This new skimmer I purchased seems to work great as its removing a lot of gunk but it's putting a ton of micro bubbles in my tank. Has anyone experienced the same thing and is there anything I can do? The only adjustment is moving the cup higher to get less water in the foam. Thanks in advance reefers.

    Every new skimmer will produce micro bubbles until it is broken in. Some take a few days, others a week or so.

    It's a used skimmer but it hasn't been used in months. I'll hook it back up and run it for a while. Thanks

    If it was cleaned thoroghly such as soaking in vinegar/water it will need to break in same as new.
