    Great score with that skimmer.

    Since you are thinking about aqua-dosing and float switches, check out my mod, works great for that:

    I just cleaned mine, still going strong. (I will say kalk dosing through the float was a mess though. I don't recommend that. Not sure How I got away with that years ago.)

    You'd have to suspend a proper lamp for mangroves but otherwise would have worked.

    The siphon breaks? So on power on again the tank could overflow?

    I was referring to your statement above, and thought you really didn't mean the siphon stopped, or the tank would overflow on power up again.

    Actually, perhaps it was 'computerjohns' statement? Anyways, no biggie, hope all is well, happy new year!
