Removal of hydroids? Help

    Anyone know how to rid of hydroids? Yesterday it was 3, this morning 8, now I have about 11 of these guys. Are they bad, how can I remove them? Aptasia killer( joes juice aiptasia-x) ?

    They are a pita for sure. I have a blue tuxedo urchin, who eats mine, along with the coral / algae they are on. I think he just eats them as a by product of being on the algae

    I'm assuming colonial hydroids. I just take the rock out, make a thick Kalk paste and cover them with it for 15 minutes. Then I rinse off the rock with some saltwater and put it back in the tank.
