I am about to sanitize my RO/DI unit with bleach. The bleach is already in there. Should I install the new flow restrictor before I sanitize it?

Okay never mind too late lol. On another note, I am about to install all new filters/a new membrane. Any advice on how to flush these? Order to add them?

I have posted the disinfection and filter rinsing process many times, a search of my user name and disinfection should bring it up.

Lol I was following a process on reef central that you posted on. You said that bleach can adhere to plastic if you use too much. I already had the bleach in the system and didn't want that to happen.

Yep, more is not better in this case. A couple spoons full is all it takes for the system. Fresh bleach can be up to 50,000 PPM chlorine so is actually powerful stuff. The Centers for Disease Control says 0.5 PPM with a couple minutes contact time will kill almost any virus known to man so the solution strength does not have to be high.
