"REMOVED" Wow, lame guy with multiple tangs in nano

So here is how I look at situations like this..........No need to bad mouth or smash a person on here.
However there is nothing wrong with posting a video of something someone has done that we all know is not proper.

It should have been placed on the forums for Educational purposes with comments of Why you would not do this with Tangs and many other fish and inverts.

People come here for guidance and informational learning.

If we can't and do not show people what is right and wrong then are we not just as guilty as the person that does not know any better and does things like this?

 

Your thoughts are solid but apparantly thethe guy was getting some nasty and derisive comments on his youtube post. As long as we keep educational without out negative comments including on other forums it is fine. Let's keep our posts civil and informative.

 

I agree and if we inform people why it is wrong the idiot comments on the actual you tube post should be irrelevant to us if we have given the proper reasons as to why it is wrong.

This was almost to PC if you follow me.

Opinions are like you know what and we all have them but we can't be the world PC police; stick to who we are...........hobbyists helping and educating others.

The youtube video links would have been left in place had they not taken you to comments that were ripe with profanity with highly offensive content. I am no prude by a long shot.

Most of us are adults here. If not allowing links to comments regarding lewd and malicious sexual content is now considered being politically correct then you did not read the comments and can probably find links easily.

Pretty sure that those members that easily stood out in the comment section are now regretting the content of their postings.

Above all this is a family appropriate and friendly forum, in no way did the comments meet those guide lines.

 

Understood as I did not see them..........I rarely read comments on You Tube but totally understand if it was that vulgar

 

Well done Corailline,I think the appropriate comment to post would have been to compliment that person on their nice tank and video and then politely point out that the tangs should be rehomed soon.

 

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't quite fair. He's probably inexperienced in the hobby. I got a bit riled up reading the comments. I removed the comments I posted. I totally see why you closed that thread. So I'd like to apologize again! Sorry, 3Reef!

Drama will come and go, internet is a crazy place. Chance you showed character in your postings here and that is all anyone can hope to get out of it.

 

I agree with this 100%. This was too pc. The comments were on another website, not 3reef. Therefore I don't see why a 3reef mod should be worried about it. I came in late on the thread after it had been closed and wanted to know what it was about, so I found out on my own. The links being removed were only a minor inconvenience and I ended up reading all the YouTube comments anyways. If the comments were here on 3reef then I understand, but they weren't.
