Removing Maxi Mini's from my tank??

Yup it was mentioned....but in my case it wont work as the lil buggers got their feet planted in holes

 

make a better ice cube. make one long an skinny like a pencil.

 

Well I've had it!!! These nems have gotta go. 1 ate my Yellowtail Fang Blenny! My heart is broken I've been sitting here all day hoping she'd pop up somewhere. Thinking something may have spooked her and she went into hiding.

Well tonight I'm watching the tank and I look at my nem and it's spitting something out. I'm like WTH? Of course I've gotta inspect and sure enough...it's spitting out what's left of my Blenny. Which was mostly bones. The skull was pretty intact.

I've taken the pump off of my nano skimmer and now have it directly pointed on the nem. As soon as it moves...it's out!!! What I'm going to do with them I don't know. But I've got 3 in all that need to go.

 

the pump and some prying..it will work...they hate the strong current pushing them ..ime. : P good luck..good riddance.. : /

Well this is one stubborn MM! I've had some major flow directly on it since about 9-10 last night and it hasn't moved an inch! It's 3/4 curled up on itself but that's it. So I've taken to poking at it a little here and there, hoping to help it along a little. UGH!

 

I have held the power head in my hand and put it right up to it and then proded..once you get an edge lifted...its all down hill from there...huh?..easy for me to say..lol ; )

 

ship them my way! lol

 

I've got 3. One is already spoken for, but I'll keep you in mind if/when I get the others removed...oh did I mention they're FREE!



This one I rescued from the LFS. It was the size of a 50 cent piece and totally white. The colors I see coming in are amazing. But I think it needs way more light.

That's just it. I can't get to the bottom of it's *foot* as it is inside of a hole Now it's beginning to recede into the hole totally!
