replacement bulbs

So im looking for some replacement bulbs for my nova t5 48inch they are way over a year old
Does any body know were to get some online and what kind would you get for making the colors pop like some peoples tanks on this site

 

I replaced mine with UVL super actinic whites (has more of a purple look, but the greens in the corals pop) you can mix with true daylight for your pure whites--also running actinic blue and actinic purple

 

Well, there are those who like ATI, Giesemann and UVL. All have their good qualities. These three bulbs can be found on reefgeek.com. They also have icecap bulbs, but until I see some PAR and PUR tests on them, I will reserve comment. Personally, I run 100% UVL. I have a Tek 8x54W T5 array and stock it with the following.....

4x Superactinics
2x Actinic Whites (12000K)
2x 75/25 (14000K)

If I could get Tangster, Dr.Frag and Horkn to chime in that would be great. With the differing opinions, you ought to be confused in no time flat!!!

I would toss in some ATI Aquablue, Blue+ and to get the pop, try a True Actinic.
How many lamps is the fixture again?

John, without taking this off topic, wouldn't switching you daylights to 12000k(aquablue) shift the tank to a MORE blue look?
If you want more growth you WANT daylight... ATI has a PAR rocking daylight lamp!!

If you mean lamps....Reefgeek, premium Aquatics and so on.

4 lamp, I would do 2Blue+ and 2Aquablue+, unless you want more POP or more power....

yes that is what i needed to know
i no this is the wrong place but i want to by a octupus skimmer to (sea clones are pooo)
and ref geek does not have them i want buy the lights and the skimmer to gether

Nope....the 75/25s have more in the blue spectrum. The 12000Ks are 50/50. 10000K is whiter still and 6500K starts looking yellow. Lord knows what 3000K is all about......

This is, of course, assuming my understanding of color and K value is correct and not bass ackwards.
