I am about to replace my bulbs in my Nova Extreme Pro 6 bulb fixture. I've had it about a year and now noticing that the hair algae is getting out of control!! I have heard that when bulbs require replacement, algae grows alot faster?? Also, my corals are not as vibrant as they used to be. Anyway, I would like to upgrade and want to know what type of HO bulbs would be a good setup for my reef tank. I have been looking at 3 super actinic T5 HO, and 3 12,000 K T5 HO. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Buy 4 ATI Blue Plus, 1 UVL Actinic White and 1 GE 6500K. Placement front to back, Blue Plus, Actinic White, Blue Plus, GE, Blue Plus, Blue Plus. This will be around the same color temp of what you were looking at maybe a little whiter but will have substantially more PAR.
