Its a Mpdi-90 system if that helps anyone. I just don't know what the specs above mean.

That is just their basic entry level system and from their page, it says:

    - 90 gallon per day, high-rejection thin-film composite Reverse Osmosis membrane
    - SilicaBuster™ Standard Color-Change DI Cartridge
    - Long-life high-efficiency 1 micron MicroTec™ sediment filter
    - High-capacity 1 micron carbon block pre-filter

The kit that azjohnny linked and the original link also, are for the CSPDI system which is one level up.
I don't know if the cartridges are interchangeable.
On SpectraPure's pages I can't find a kit for the MPDI90 system so I'm assuming you have to order each filter separate.

the replacement filters are interchangable and will work for many other brands of RO/DIs

The sediment filter protects the membrane and carbon block from undissolved solids, I like to get the smallest pore size available.Make sure the sediment filter has the same or smaller pore size than your carbon block or your carbon block will than act as a sediment filter and will get plugged sooner. Expect to replace them every 6 months

The quality of your membrane is also very important, if its a cheaper brand you will go through DI cartridges a lot faster and DI is the most expensive filter replacement. The Membrane is the workhorse of your system, I use the Spectrapure Select Membranes which have an absolute rejection rate of 98% which means its guaranteed to reject that amount, if its a nominal rating that is a rating it might be able to achieve.

An improvement of 1% with the rejection rate of the membrane will double your DI life. Some Membranes can go as low as a 90% rejection rate.

In my area my feed water is 700pmm of TDS and after the membrane i get 15ppm and the DI will get it down to zero, once your TDS levels reach 1ppm you need to change out your DI

Yes that is the replacement kit you need.
You should not need a new membrane but you can check it with your TDS meter to be sure.
What is your tap water TDS and RO only TDS before the DI? These numbers are used to calculate your rejection rate which should be in the 95-98% range for best DI life.

A 2% loss in RO rejection rate cuts your DI life in half or the inverse is improve the rejection rate by 2% (not 1%) and you double the life of your DI resin. I try to keep my membrane operating in the 97-99% rejection range as it greatly increases the DI life and lowers the oevrall cost of operation and ownership.

Forgive me for being a newbie to this, but how do you calculate the rejection rate? Is is a percentage related to the TDS?
I sent you a PM on other Q's if you don't mind.
OH OH, I just checked and the PM didn't go through last night. Must have been asleep at the switch.
Now I'll have to try and figure out what I was asking so I can send properly this time.
