    Hey guys.

Well i think it is about time for me to be buying some new bulbs for my tank. My question is...which bulbs do you think would be best? Right now i am thinking of getting 2 more 11000kbulbs and 2 actinic/blue+ bulbs. But...now i see that there are 12000k bulbs. Can those replace the 11000k? Which would be better for my tank...and should i keep one 6500k...

I like the 12k. That's what I have in my compact lights.

Does anyone know the Pros and Cons of going with 11000k vs. 12000k t-5s?

The way I understand it is the par value of the lighting drops at the higher Kelvins but looks more blue. Since you have actinics I would go with the lowest Kelvin possible. I think 6500k is for freshwater and vivariums I would stick with 10000K and actinics. Or drop to one actinic and use more regular bulbs with a higher kelvin.
