    +1 on that!

    Even premium carbon is pretty much shot (unless you use LOADS of it in a TINY tank) - it has maxed out its toxin-removing capability and need to be CHANGED - not rinsed every 2 weeks.

    Only exception I know of would be Chemi-Pure - and that you can rinse because it is a lot more than just activated carbon - its a proprietary blend of chemicals that I think are great. These bags can be rinsed and re-used for several months.
