    Im finally going to replace my CC with sand(maybe next weekend if i can get the help).1 to 1/12 inches sound about right?
    40gallon tank(36 x 15)-Going to go with 45lbs fiji pink Dry
    Im excited!
    I will probably start a thread when i do it because it requires a tank tear down and rebuild.Whish me luck

    I have about that in my tank and it works for denitrification. Good luck, plan out your move totally and you will get through it quicker.
