Rescued Tubinaria Coral

Hello-

I recently picked up a Tubinaria (sp?) frag from a buddy of mine whose tank has been slowly dying. for the last week of so I thought it was a goner and that I had wasted my efforts, but these past few days I have been slowly finding polyps popping out of it.

This is my first experience with once of these, and does it look bad? I am not sure what to expect if it is healthy.

I am terrible at taking pictures of my in-tank life it always comes out too bright... but what can I look for in a healthy tube?
