GE 1 is the type youd want use. theres a GE 2 , which i believe has a fungicide or mildewcide in it , which doesnt adhere quite as well. hope i dont have these 2 backwards

Go to a local Lowe's and over in the roofing shingle area they have 3.99 a caulk gun tube made by DAPP 100% silicone I've used it for yrs and have built aquariums from it . If its labeled 100% silicone then It's all the same no matter what it cost or who made it you will need a caulk gun and you have to actual totally take the old tank apart then remove all the old silicone then put it all back together as no new silicone will adhere to old dry silicone .
But if you want to just remove the old inside beads and try it ? it may work and hold for a good long time on a small tank like that . But you have to really clean the glass along the existing seam and scrape it well then use some denatured alcohol to clean it before applying the new silicone bead over top the old seam .
