    I was thinking of reaquascaping but would that cause any reaction nitrate or nitrite wise from moving rocks and stirring sand from this? I have about a week for the stuff to arrive so I was wondering would this be plenty of time, also I can do water changes if needed.

    You dont want to reaquascape till your ready to add the new nem/clown, otherwise your just letting the original pair claim territory again leaving you right back where your at now.
