    I am quite depressed. This Bangaii was easily the success story of my tank. The little guy was swimming around yesterday. Tonight he didn't come out to feed. I see half of him in my vortech screen. He/she was 9 months old. 11/15/10 - 08/22/11.

    Nah, old wives tale (dorsal fin). I was just emailing Frank Marini about this the other day. He must have done a 360 on that one ;)

    His later papers on BC, like the one he co-authored with Dr. Alejandro Vagelli also states that as not being an accurate method.

    As does this paper: "Manual for the Production of the Banggai Cardinalfish, Pterapogon kauderni, in Hawai‘i" - Steve Hopkins, Harry Ako and Clyde S. Tamaru @ Rain Garden Ornamentals

    Matt Pederson did a great write on on MOFIB when he was running things..
