Return of the Bangaii

Ahhh I read the thread great story, but I can't believe it died!!! I'm bummed lol. Makes me wanna get a couple cardinals. I actually saved a tomini tang from a vortech at an LFS near me a few days ago haha. Those things must be strongg.

Thanks all. I am still pretty upset. This baby was getting so big I was starting to take him for granted. One of the parents chased him around but he always seemed to get away to rocks or behind corals. Perhaps yesterday this changed.

I keep wondering if I played a part in this. I don't feed my fish very often.. but this guy kept growing... the day before he died I did a water change and remove some dead bird's nest that died around the hydrophora (surprise!) that I want to get rid of... I am starting to wonder if I removed some critical habitat for this guy as he would run in there to dodge his abusive parent. Don't know..

I don't think the pump killed him, I think he must of drifted over there. I just don't know. I didn't see him die or get killed. Very sad. I hate losing fish.

Male or Female?

Hello, I was wondering if someone could tell me if this is a male or female? I just got him/her from the store and want to pair it with my roommates bangaii cardinal that we know is a male. Just wanted to get other opinions, I have read post after post and cant make a decision based on others sexing techniques. Thanks!
