Alright, starting to look at heaters and return pumps for my 75g+30g sump

I installed my Glass-Holes 1500GPH overflow kit. Obviously I won't need to use all of that flow, and will have ball valves installed, but I still am undecided and unsure of what return pump I need. I don't know how many GPH I need to push through the sump, I have 2 Koralia 1400's in the Display tank, so I am not to worried about waterflow. Any help in this area would be awesome.

Also, need some help on what kind of heater I should get.

    thanks :)

    I have 250gph on a 10g sump/fuge on my 38g tank. I'm currently upgrading to a 75g and will keep the 10g fuge/sump. I'd say 500gph to 700gph would be fine.

I was reading the manual for the Fluval one, and you can't lay it on the bottom of the sump.

That should be a problem to have it mounted on the side of the sump, should it?

Those Eheim ones are Spendy, lol. Oh well, I always used Eheim in my Water Cooling for my computer, might as well use it for my aquarium

Ocean Runner 2500 or 3500 or Eheim 1260 or 1262 for the pump and Via Aqua Titanium for the heater. I use the OR3500 and a 300w Titanium on my current 100G system with a 30G sump and its been very reliable for 6.5 years now.

The cost quite a bit, but will last you forever. ;)

I would figure what size pump you need for your tank, then pick the next size up, to also power your skimmer, heater, whatever extra equipment you may have.
