Return Pump Question

    So what would be a good return pump for my 45 gallon cube? The whole setup with the stand is a little under 5 feet tall in total. I heard some comments about the Sicce Syncra pumps, but I was getting mixed reviews as to what size I should get. The sump is only 10 gallons, so I don't want too much flow going through it. Would the Syncra 1.0 work?

    I dunno...at 3' of head, you're down to about 150 gph, and the pump is only rated for 5' max, so it won't be enuff pump once you get to the tank rim at 5'. I think the 1.5 would be a better choice if you want to end up with about 185 gph at the tank rim. Check the flow chart for these pumps and look at where/how they drop off.

    That being said, I have several smaller Sicce pumps running on our AIO setups, and I REALLY like them. Super quiet and pretty low power consumption.
