OK good. I will work with what you guys have been using. I will do the 12 or 18, lets see what the bill looks like when its addedup.

I was just relaying the text from their site. It did sound high to me, but thought I would check. Big order probably going in this weekend.

    Thanks guys.

So let me get this straight, Luna are you saying that you have more than the rated 600 gallons per hour through the mega flow?

Also along the same lines, I saw a thread a long time ago about throttling back a pump with a ball valve and a pvc "t" so that no back pressure is put on the pump and the excess water flow is returned to the sump. Any one know what I am talking about? or have a diagram?

Hey, so what I remember is adding a ball valve or gate valve to the intake and return in order to be able to slow flow as needed. I dont recall adding a T for this setup.

You would want to add a T to split the flow or to remove back pressure as in the installation of an extention off the EV180 skimmer. This is what I did per the instructions of the EV180.

My 90 gal All Glass Mega Flow is rated for 800 gal/hour max flow capacity. This I know.

Yes, I know what you are talking about. That is correct and highly beneficial to the over-all sump system. Sorry, no diagram. Mega flow is rated at 600 but can be overclocked up to 800 gph according to a phone call to the mfg.
