return pump valve leaking!!!!

    how do you have it attached to the valve? any clamps?

    If it's leaking at the joint between the hose barbs and the valve, you didn't use enuff Teflon tape. I use threaded connections on all of my setups, and I've found that you need to use quite a bit more Teflon than one would think. You also need to wind the tape in the correct direction so that when you screw the hose barbs in, the Teflon doesn't want to "unwind".

    If it's leaking around the valve stem (handle), replace the valve.

    So you used threaded connections right? if so, the hose isn't going anywhere. Just use some teflon tape whenever you get to it.
