    what size return pump should i have for a 29gall tank with a 10 gall sump? how many gph?

    arround a 100-150 @ the head height most smaller pumps rated for 350 usually flow arround there somwhere arround 3-4 feet of head pressure

    Recommended amount is 6 to 10 times the sump's volume at what ever head you have, to 60 to 100 gallons per hour.

    I'd say that depends on what you want to keep in it and how many PH your going to run.

    my lfs has one in the discount bin. i might get it just to have a pump.

    on that tank i would at least run 350gph pump...but if it were mine i would run a 500gph..i like my return pumps somewhat strong..
