Return pump

Some people never clean sumps. I think if there is detritus in there it should be cleaned out. Shop vac or bucket head vac.

 

Move was successful and tank is back up and running. I cleaned out my return pump and it's working good as new. Also cleaned out my skimmer to where it looks bran new as well! Gonna order my new bulbs this week for my eight bulb T5 fixture and leave everything sit and do its thing for a while. I still need to figure out a way to hang my lighting fixture. New house has no support beams above where my tank is. I had the Direct TV guy look around for me while he was in my attic. That's my old two bulb T5 sitting on top of it til I figure it out.
