Getting ready to buy return pump for 210 gallon with 75 gallon Sump/refugium. I have approx. 6 ft head to top of tank to run up and over returns. I also want to run two mr1 reactors off return manifold. I was looking at reeflo dart/snapper gold or water blaster hy10000. Any suggestions or experience to help me make decision would be greatly appreciated. Oh forgot it's a rr tank and is going to be a Herbie style system. Thanks

Look into the DC pump. I have a Jebao DC-12000 coming soon for my 125. Should be more than enough for you 210 as well.

I have looked into the diablo. Are you using or have you any history with dc pumps? I'm a little worried about long term running everything off one pump. Although it seems every pump internal/external/dc etc. all have some type of issue whether it be heat transfer, seals leaking, longevity, etc. I'm just trying to make best choice for my tank. It's not very easy. I guess it may come down to warranty and customer service of said products. Thank you for your help.

This will be my first DC return pump. I have been using DC powerheads (Jebao WP-40s) for a few months now, but not enough to give you any solid advice on reliability, etc.

I'm running a Jabeo DC1200 on my current 125g Reef. 10 ft head height.

I have some powerheads in the DT, including 1 wp40.

I'm currently running it on 5 out of 6. My system handles 6/6 fine, but 5/6 is still flowing at least 800-1000gph at 10ft head height. I did go from my previous 1" pipe to my current 1.5"- wow, what a difference.

IMHO- you should go with the Jabeo DC12000 all the way. I saw them on Ebay recenlty for $145 shipped! Apparenty however- they want you to use it internal, something about the seal? I'm using internal anyways, so no problem for me.
This pumjp will run everything you got and more, just make sue to go large diameter.
It comes with it's own controller, with feed mode, etc.

It's awesome. Don't get the diablo- unless you HAVE to have external- it's like what, over double the money?
