I have a 125 gal. saltwater RR tank w/two OT's. One OT side is not outputting much of a flow. I have checked for blockage, turned off return pump and fed water into OT and there is a flow that comes out. I am thinking that my return pump is not strong enough. Right now I have a Model 7 utility pump, 115 volts A.C., 60Hz/65 watts, 1.5 amps in my sump. Wondering if my Ocean Runner 2500 can replace this? Each OT provides 600gph for a total of 1200gph. My oceanrunner 2500 provides 650gph. Please tell me what you think because I am seeing some yellowish hue in the tank along with bright red growth of some sort. HELP!!:eek::-/

A Mag 1800 is what you need on a 125 and a proper skimmer and carbon use will remove the yellow water look. the Ocean runner 2500 at less then 650 will not do much at all for that size tank

Gr8 thx. I have an ASM G-3 protein skimmer. I also have a magnum 350 w/carbon + filter. Mag 1800, any suggestions of where I could get a good buy?
