    An overflow would help alot, just make sure you get one that can handle the gph the pump pushes back in the tank.

    Yea, I'm not a huge fan of seeing PVC around the DT. Loc-Line has a spray bar setup that looks really clean if thats what you are going for.
    You really want to have a reliable overflow. Don't skim here. It can cause you much headache if you do..

    Keep in mind if you use a spraybar that those tiny holes get clogged pretty easily with things growing in or over them.

    I will not be using the MAG 18 wide open....I tried and it is way to much volume coming back into the DT so I have a ball valve on the return line the 1 1/4 inch PVC is hidden so looks isnt a problem....I want it distributed evenly throughout the DT....I just dont know how yet....
