You better tell the LFS he wasn't eating, so that they know. And maybe you can find one soon that is eating well!

What types of food have you tried? A week isn't that bad. My CB didn't eat prepared foods for about that time. Don't take offense to this, but I don't like what your doing. It has a better chance of eating and living with you then with the LFS. You can pay close attention to it, try to target feed it etc. At the lfs, it will probably die or be sold to somebody where most likely won't eat. Transporting it and adding it to a new tank will only stress it out more and more. IMO, being a hobbyist means taking on challenges and accepting responsibility for these animals. You may not like what I'm saying, but that's how I feel.

you are right, but i really cant afford him dying on me. My LFS takes good care of the fish, ive returned 2 fish to him for other reasons and he has this QT room where he usually restores them back to health before selling again. Problem with me keeping it is that he is refusing every food i give him.. im out of ideas.
ive tried, mysis shrimp and the emerald cubes, ( emerald contain brine, mysis, krill, and like 3 types of algae i think). and ive also tried nori. and pellets with spirullina. One time he took a bite to mysis but spited it out right away and havent seen him try anything else since.
i do see him picking at the rocks and at the roots of my mangroves, every now and then, but he swims funny, like if he was sad. I pretty much ran out of ideas and cant really afford to restore a fish back to health if he isnt healthy from the start.

i was going to try formula 1, but honestly i dont think he is going to eat. i think its worth mentioning that everything goes soaked in garlic aswell.

My Naso's and any other fish for that matter, are addicted to Cyclop-Eeze.
