Would this work as a reverse durso?? I'm now trying to limit the "boiling" sound and splashes in my sump.

    A. 1" drain from DT
    B. 1" elbow
    C. 1 1/4" pipe for water drain
    D. 1"-1 1/4" T
    E. 1 1/4" air riser pipe
    F. 1 1/4" cap

That should work to vent the plumbing. One thing I would mention is to make the pipe (E) long enough so that the cap (F) is above the water line in the tank. This way if water was to ever back up the vent pipe it could not come out the vent cap. This should def cut the noise down.
