Reverse Osmosos water from Water Machine on the corner

You are lucky then, most vending machines are not that good and maintenance consists or removing the quarters and spraying some bleach on the outside.
DO NOT use a vending machine unless you have a TDS meter and use it every time you buy water, its not worth the risk at any cost. Machines are not regulated by health authorities so you are at the risk of the owner/operator who is in it for the profit.

 

I have the same kind of machines I bought my reef water for ans so far so good...all my corals are doing well inc. a birdsnest that is growing like a weed. I did test it after adding salt...and was good so anyway so far so good. I do intend to buy a RO/DI system...I like the saving $10 a week for it....so will do that. Is more convenient to be able to make my own reef water than lugging 5 heavy jugs home...

Plus w/ a DI bypass we will have decent water to drink & for ice (which is how you can sell it to your wife...since are military and the water is different in every place you'll be w/ a RO/DI unit you'll always have good tasting water.
