I've been running the JBJ ATO with an Aqualifter pump for a couple of years now and its been extremely reliable. Not super cheap but far from a bank-breaker.

Its looking great so far, keep us posted!

I can recommend a Gravity only DIY powered one like mine.
It can still be done with a sump in the stand, but my basement sump helps alot too. Less $$- built it right- fool/fail proof too.

Right now the current inhabitants are a Midas Blenny, One Spot Blenny, and a Six line wrasse. I am trying to think of what to add next. My LFS is getting in a pair of jumbo Black/White clowns I am considering. Any recommendations?

I am experiencing a slight diatom bloom right now...just dark spots in the sand. I wonder if I should let it pass or add something to the CUC to stir the sand.

It will pass, not much a cuc will do anyway. Will take awhile though.

Try agitating the top layer and continue weekly water changes.

I stirred the sandbed tonight when I was adding some pulsing Xenia. I also made the light cycle a little less intense.

I got a GoPro for my Birthday yesterday, so of course I had to put it in my aquarium. You can see my Sea Hare doing work in the foreground and feeding time going on in the background...
