    just got a new green ric frag (My 125 thread) just wonder what care needs to be given?

    Ricordea florida like most all corals photosynthesize, as long as your aquariums water is prestine it should flourish, especially under MH's.

    I concur, my ricordia is more than halfway up my 90 under 608 watts of mh and t5 and seems to be loving it...also low to med flow.

    Ricordea do not need extreme lighting. They do fine under t5 or even compact.
