PAR Readings, I want to thank Glenn Sellers for letting me use his PAR meter! Readings were taken with all pumps off and all lights on. I was very surprised at how much PAR the T5's put out. An inch under the ATI Blue Plus was 500! An inch under the UVL Super Actinic was 380! The T5's are a week old and the Phoenix MH's are 8 months old. Tomorrow I will be taking new readings with brand new Phoenix bulbs.

I went there once, they didn't have much livestock compared to up where I live. I usually buy my livestock online but if I got to the LFS I go to The Hidden Reef or Pets Plus.

As promised, I put in the new Phoenix bulbs and let them run for two hours before taking the PAR readings.

I love the PAR pics. How cool. 8) So have you moved stuff around as a result of using the par meter or any surprises?

Nope, if the readings were 600 or more I would move some of the corals down but everything seems to be coloring up well where they are at. I was surprised at how much PAR I was getting on my sand bed.
