I finished my first treatment of Interceptor on Sunday in my frag tank and I started my first dip of ReVive today. Surprisingly after dipping 200+ corals only one had AEFW (Eggplant Nana). AEFW seem to love Tri-Color's. I still have a long way to go but this is a good start.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Odd, only one had the AEFW, excellent news I guess. Have you heard that some people report that after they treated for RB, they had an out brake of AEFW? Seems the RB some how keep the AEFW's in check. How true that is I have no clue. So how long do you think you had the AEFWs before you noticed them?

Good luck on the treatment, certainly one of the hardest pest to treat.

When I first treated for Red Bugs I had AEFW too. I don't think there is a correlation between the two pests, I think it has more to do with me NEVER quarantining or dipping any corals before adding them to the tank. I used Interceptor before as an in tank treatment and it worked well but then I started trading again and didn't have a QT so I ended up getting them back. As for the AEFW, I've never treated for them until now. Now that my tank is broken down and all the corals are fragged it is much easier to treat for both pests. Plus if I see any eggs at the base of the coral which is what I saw on the Eggplant today I can cut that part off and glue it to a new plug after I dip. My plan is to dip once a week for eight weeks in ReVive and treat with Interceptor every four days for a total of five treatments. I let the Interceptor run for 24 hours and I don't bother with a water change after that because Interceptor is no longer effective after 24 hours.
