    Full Tank Shot

The tank looks good after a 30 gallon water change with Instant Ocean, I bump up the magnesium and calcium levels in the mixing tank. Sorry about the Mag Float being in the picture. I was having trouble with it scratching my glass so I glued a piece of scrubbing felt to the wet side and it works great.

How long have you had the starfish? I would really like to get one but have heard mixed reviews on their longevity.....

I have had both for about three months. I cannot comment on how long they will last, I notice they like to be on the glass when it is covered in green film algae.
