I got my Orange ricordea about 5 days ago and its been great :) its eating well everything. but i dont really know how to ''read'' coral behavior so i dont know if what its doing is normal.

Its pretty much cupped its self and it opens up sometimes..

    What can it be??
    My tank parameters are..
    Ammonia: 0
    Nitrite: 0
    Nitrate: 0
    salinity: 1.024

Can it be the waterflow? please help..

First picture is how it looked the day i got it.
and the second is how it looks today.

Last two i just uploaded right now :)

It kind of looks like to me it's starting to split, I don't think there is anything wrong at all, but you will get better input from more experianced reefers.

Mine do this if I turn the lights off midday for whatever reason.

I wouldn't worry to much though, they're extremely hardy. I once dropped the rock mine were attached to and ground them up a bit. The two Rics I had at the time were torn into three, plus some tiny shreds. Those tiny shreds took off and now I have about a dozen.
