Ricordea splitting???

    Thanks 2in10! i skipped the last two spot feeedings with thoughts that it would not eat or impede with it's progress on splitting. Wish I could find my camera so I can post a pic and get assurance from y'all that it is splitting. Still a noob but I'm experienced enough to know that it's not dying ::)

    It would be cool to see pics on a time line for reference for anyone else.

    Yah I'll try and find the camera today and get pics up! It's been splitting for about a week now but I can post a pic before it started to split, a pic of how it looks today, a week from now and so on. I looked for pics while I was trying to get info on it before I poster this thread but couldn't really find any. Specially of a natural split!

    I don't see the harm in feeding it. It's gonna split either way.

    I don't see what's wrong with it. If it's for ethical reasons, then I guess we shouldn't be killing aiptasia either.

    The only reason I wouldn't do it is because I wouldn't want rics all over my display tank, unless it was a small themed tank for it.
