    The important thing is you found what you like. I've had the same experience with my led fixture from Reef breeders that yout have had with your halide. My brain coral and coraline took off and my bleached monti is coming back.

    I do have ai sols as part of my lighting, but you can build a DIY that is the exact same through rapid led. Ai sol blue is pretty cheap these days. I have 1000 dollars p lighting over every 2foot of tank. (3k total) had I gone MH/t5 it would have been about the same after chiller an the first bulb replacement though.

    So, you went from 150w of LED to a 450w MH? Seems like an unbalanced comparison.
