Rimless 50 - LED Reef Hgih Quality Video Thread - BNR34RB26DETT

Well i figured I would start a build thread. I sped enough time on this site anyways.
This is my 2nd tank

Its been up and running for a year now but its never too late to start a thread right?

50 gal seaclear rimless acrylic tank
Fluval 306 External Filter
Reef Octopus BH1000 HOB Protein Skimmer
LED 36" 2600 Aquarium Light Marine Bright Reef Cichlid 42x 1 Watt Lunar 90 cm

Please let me know if Im making any mistakes or if you recognize room for improvement. im here to learn.
I only have a few years of reed experience.

You could eventually upgrade your light, 42 1 watt leds is not enough to grow alot of coral. The light is described for being for a FOWLR or a cichlid tank.
As well the Blue tang is small now, but many including myself will say the tank only being 36" is far too small a home and will need to be rehomed eventually.

Do you have any other LED systems that you would recommend?

 

tons, whats your budget, and what would you like to keep ultimately... sps, mixed reef, lps?
Reef Breeders is a great option if your on a budget, if your looking for somehting with a better design or ontrollability the AI vega is a great light, or the Maxspect Razor( I currently use this and love it, looks incredible on top of a rimless tank.) Or even the radion G2 or Pro.

 

IMO a Razor would be nice
