Rinsing live sand???

    I have the ocean direct Caribbean live sand and this will be the first time I use live sand. The bag says it doesnt need to be rinsed so I just want to check to see if this is true. My other tank has CC and i know I had to rinse that. But rinsing sand would be much harder and would be a mess.

    puma - dont rinse the live sand , it would kill of some of the life you paid good money for
