    i am so sorry !!!!!!!!. i know how it fills when you loose something like loved pet is not esae some people just dont ontherstand, all the times its hard

    my dad used to tell me when i was a little kid..when your dog..er..mantis shrimp..dies..best thing to do is get a new one!

    I respectfully disagree. I find that when something close to me dies it is best not to replace it right away. At least for me anyway. If i do replace it I end up comparing it to the pet that passed and the new pet doesn't get a fair shake.

    yeah...I did actually wonder onto Stomatopod.com and looked at a few but decided against it.

    I dont want to replace my pug that is being destroyed when off quarentine nor do I want to replace Bob as of yet! I truly am thinking that I will NEVER get another dog again....way to painful to make the hard decisions. I hd to put my one pug down about 1 1/2 years ago, then a cat, then my childhood dog that was at my parents home a month ago, and now my one pug! Very painful!

    Bobs tank looks very bare right now...one sole damsel, and some soft corals.

    Aww don't do that. You should get another dog/mantis when you are ready. Yes it is hard to put them down, but don't forget about all the joy they brought you throughout their lives.
