Well...I found the first fish I ever puchased, way back when I started this hobby, dead in the back of my tank under the rock stucture.

I really wish I had been here...then maybe I could have done somthing to prevent this.

Seems that he starved to death...yet every time I saw him, he ate plenty...I guess I will never know.

Now I only hope that because I am unable to retreive him...he will be recycled in the tank so that the other inhabitants are not harmed...

Sorry to hear the bad news. If one of my first fish died I don't know what Id do :( I actually visit my old freshwater fish at the lfs. I gave them an Angel Fish that lost one of his eyes. I named him one eye :p He was the only fish I ever had that I cared about. When I decided to go to salt water I didn't want to sell him. I know the owner at the LFS so I asked him if he could put him in one of the show tanks. He is still there to this day. In fact I think I will ask to have or buy him back :p My first fish were my Coral Beauty and a scooter blennie named Scoots. My tank wouldn't look right with out them.

I know how you feel, my g/f got a sixline awhile back and it liked to cram its head under some dead coral... A couple of days later I found one of the bumblebees on it :( I guess its wound got infected.

We also had a jawfish and a gramma that died because of our inexperience and BAD advice.
