LOL, I have had exactly 1 red bull, couldnt stand the stuff!
I will miss him but i'll tune in to see how the sons do, but my favorite is capt Sig, who could be next if he doesn't learn from Phil's example.

Thats the pits. I watched that show all the time. I guess we all saw it coming though. He did lead a hard life. I saw the show where he was coughing up blood and thought WOW this guy is not in the best health to be out in the middle of the Bering Sea crabbing. I feel bad for his sons, because a few shows later when he wasnt fishing he ws walking on a pier with his boys and looked better than he had in any of the shows, it almost looked as if he would make it back.

Crazy. I heard he had a stroke last week but I was under the impression that he was going to recover. I always liked watching him and his crew. RIP!

I'd always thought of all the boats and skippers to work under on the Deadliest Catch, Phil Harris and the Cornelia Marie would be my choice. He seemed calm, fair, level headed and concerned with the well being of everyone on board. Not to take anything away from the other guys, but some of them rode their crew a little too hard. Phil seemed to comprehend the fact that a human body does in fact require some rest in order to function...
